We do family

Earth+Kin Foundation, Ltd. 501(c)3

Mission: 10,000 Families

Families are the keystone to a healthy life and a healthy future planet.  For generations, families have naturally provided support systems such as education, inspiration, friendship, work ethic, counseling, mentorship, self-care, land management and restoration.  These natural social building blocks are the first line of support when the inevitable crisis arises, or seemingly insurmountable decision is upon us.  But the physical and emotional well-being of young parents and kids—and their ability to support one another—does not happen overnight or come naturally in a culture increasingly driven towards individualism.  Healthy support systems within families are intentional lifestyles and are developed over time—one seemingly small and insignificant decision at a time—and require a diligent investment of time.  We live and learn these process’ through adventure.  Muddy trails, alpine arrests, waterfalls and epic bike jumps.  It is our passion and our mission to create an inspirational space where we can protect extended periods of time for families and guide them to develop healthy lifestyles at a young age.

Events

Technical adventures meant to challenge

We host events weekly from the White Mountains of New Hampshire down to the beaches of Boston Harbor. Please join us! We invest in houses, jobs and retirement accounts. Join us by investing in family and community during challenging times. We embrace the reality of a messy family life and we tackle these adventures together. Like the bison on the planes of Wyoming, together we run into the storms, not away from them.  The challenges we overcome together on mountains and beaches train us to endure and support one another when faced with inevitable.  Join us on our journey into the storm!

SOMETHING BIGGERd

THAN YOURSELF

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

You have a story

Identify it. Learn from it. Begin to lead.

Whether you recognize it or not, you are in the midst of your own story--and every good story has both ups and downs. While children often bring life changing highs, you've likely also experienced lows in some fashion, whether it's illness, depression, abuse or financial hardship. With the logistics of raising children these stories often get overlooked or tucked away to be dealt with another day. Another day turns into another year, which turns into lifelong seasons of pain. We don't shy away from these stories. Instead we lean into them, together.

Join us as we journey Into the Storm and challenge ourselves and our families to take risks, grow and overcome challenges together.

Let's Get Muddy

How can we inspire the next generation of adventurers, wanderers, scientists, and lovers of our Earth? By putting our money where our mouth is. We donate 2% our profits: 1% to organizations that work to conserve our planet and another 1% to those promoting science education to young minds. We believe in getting muddy to have fun, and geting muddy to make a positive impact on the future.

FOR EARTH

All of humanity shares one planet. Water flows across borders, our beaches share the oceans. We all watch the same sun rise in the morning and mavel at the same moon at night. We depend on these environments and without their health, humanity does not exist. We create quality products not for a marketing slogan, but because cheap products need replacing, and replacing products taxes our natural resources. Earth + Kin chooses to give 1% of our profits to causes that support conservation and protection of our enviroments as one half of a critical mission for the next generation.

FOR KIN

Like the rivers that run across borders, a uniting thread among parents is the deep and lasting love we have for our children, and the desire to leave them a world better than we found it. We believe that, armed with knowledge, our kids can be both excited about their time outdoors and also understand how to live and play responsibly in our environment and learn a diverse range of skills that last a lifetime. Earth + Kin chooses to give 1% of our profits to causes that support education in the science fields to inspire a love of learning and the outdoors.
